PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia (KMI) has mendegar Honda wanted to enter the segment of 250 cc sport next year. The plan was greeted positively by the cold and Kawasaki are now strolling alone on the national market with flagship products Ninja 250R.
National Marketing Manager of PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia (KMI) Freddyanto Basuki explained, the presence of more competitors will only enlarge the existing market. Additionally, it will increase competition among producers.
"Consumers will also have an alternative choice. Jusrtu we will welcome the arrival of their (Honda) into the market, 'said Freddy in Jakarta, yesterday.
As is known, PT Astra Honda Motor reportedly will begin to touch the sports market in the 250cc class next year with the legendary CBR products. On the domestic motorcycle market, Kawasaki Ninja250 quite successfully market in big cities in Indonesia. Referring to data Aosiasi Indonesian Motorcycle Industries (AISI), during January-August 2010, Kawasaki has 9948 Ninja250 dump into the market.
